Terms of use
The rules for using veritado.com and its public register of certificates. By using the site, you accept them.

Who we are
veritado.com is run by Veritado, Oficina Principal de Correos, Paseo del Prado, 1, 28014 Madrid, Spain (contact@veritado.com).
What a certificate is
A Veritado certificate records our expert opinion of one item on the date shown, based on the examination described in the record. It is an opinion given carefully and in good faith, not a promise about anything outside that examination.
Checking a certificate
- A record applies only to the item in its photos. Compare the item in front of you with them.
- The record on this site is the reference. Its status can change, for example if it is revoked or superseded, so check the live record, not only a printout or a screenshot.
- A printed record shows the record as it stood on the date printed on it.
Our guarantee
If an item we’ve certified as authentic is judged not authentic by Beckett, PSA/DNA or JSA, we’ll pay you up to $300, as described on our home page. To claim, email us the certificate number and the other authenticator’s result.
Fair use of the register
The register is for checking certificates one at a time. You may not:
- look up records or download photos automatically or in bulk, or with scripts, bots or automated browsers
- get around our person check or our lookup limits
- copy signature photos to make or sell reproductions
We may block anyone who does.
Content and photos
The text, photos and design of this site belong to Veritado. You may link to any record, and share a record or its printout to show the certificate of an item you own, sell or are thinking of buying. Anything else needs our written permission.
Trade services
We authenticate for the trade only: volume sellers, dealers, traders and auction houses. Our work for trade clients is governed by our agreement with each client.
Liability
We take care to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is and may sometimes be unavailable. We are not liable for losses caused by using the site, except where the law does not allow that to be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.
Law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes go to the courts of Madrid, unless the law gives you, as a consumer, the right to go to the courts where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
